Boya's Humphry Rishton got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hank Whitsitt kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. In the 8th minute, Humphry Rishton got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Archie Fulton in the 9th minute of play forced York's goalkeeper Karl Wenham to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Damon Turnor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlisle Egel in the 16th minute of the match. After 17 played minutes Boya got a freekick which was hit by Brannan Fazey. The audience was convinced that Archie Fulton's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Karl Wenham was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. Archie Fulton charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Archie Fulton the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Archie Fulton hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Archie Fulton managed to get in a good position for a shot. Boya's supporters rose to their feet, but Archie Fulton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Karl Wenham breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Humphry Rishton in the 43rd minute of play forced York's goalkeeper Karl Wenham to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Humphry Rishton came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Boya fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Humphry Rishton couldn't finish the play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Archie Fulton to strike the kick off in the second half. Humphry Rishton who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 53rdth minute tested the skills of Karl Wenham when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 54th match minute, York was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacob Mcjunkin to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in York's zone, Humphry Rishton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karl Wenham came out of the goal and Humphry Rishton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Archie Fulton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alford Beer in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Damon Turnor prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Raymond Petersen during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 75th match minute, Boya was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raymond Petersen to maneuver through the defense. Humphry Rishton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bradley Reilly's late challenge caught a Boya's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bradley Reilly helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Boya booed when York was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bradley Reilly didn't get a good kick on the ball. Humphry Rishton blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Karl Wenham having to make a save. In the 89th minute, Hank Whitsitt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Archie Fulton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl Wenham having to interfere. After 92 played minutes Boya got a freekick which was hit by Humphry Rishton. Archie Fulton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Boya's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
