Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Boya's Archie Fulton started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Humphry Rishton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Duffield Terris tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Damon Tencer in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Damon Turnor saved Boya from getting behind. A collision led to Boya getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Brannan Fazey hit a great ball. In the 20th minute Damon Tencer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damon Turnor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Boyce Boneheyo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 28th minute, Raymond Petersen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Boya's zone, Boyce Boneheyo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Damon Turnor came out of the goal and Boyce Boneheyo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 34 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Boya! In the 37th minute, Damon Tencer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Archie Fulton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Spuds United's Duffield Terris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Archie Fulton in the 52nd minute of play. Boyce Boneheyo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Damon Turnor made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Boyce Boneheyo got free with Damon Turnor in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Spuds United booed when Boya was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Humphry Rishton didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 77th minute, Raymond Petersen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 79 played minutes Boya got a freekick which was hit by Raymond Petersen. The supporters of Boya booed when Spuds United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabian Kuch didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 91st match minute, Spuds United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bjorn Czaczka to maneuver through the defense.
