Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Lorimer Coldicutt took the kick off in the first half of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eliot Turnbull got free with Dugald Kepert in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Daniel Gaines made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lorimer Coldicutt in the 9th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, Lorimer Coldicutt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Daniel Gaines. Strathblane's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lorimer Coldicutt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Irwin Wenham charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 39thth minute of the game Lorimer Coldicutt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Strathblane's Daniel Gaines was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bindle's Jarvis Hodge got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Joshua Holdsworth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Dugald Kepert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Strathblane's Daniel Gaines played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Remy Warren in the 71st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lorimer Coldicutt in the 72nd minute of play forced Strathblane's goalkeeper Daniel Gaines to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
