Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Edwardo Phillips received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Dugald Kepert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dallas Gissane's late challenge caught a Mundalla's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dallas Gissane helped the player get up and apologised. In the 7th minute, Dallas Gissane hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ivan Whelpton scored 1-0 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dugald Kepert, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Mundalla's Brookes Devine got a free kick in the 18th minute. Lorimer Coldicutt might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mack Heath. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lorimer Coldicutt ran back to his position shaking his head. Lorimer Coldicutt scored 1-1 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mack Heath, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 34 minutes into the game, Bindle's Lorimer Coldicutt nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mack Heath made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. In the 38th minute Lorimer Coldicutt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mack Heath saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edwardo Phillips to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Bindle's Tom Kennewell got a free kick in the 51st minute. Bindle's Dugald Kepert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edwardo Phillips in the 53rd minute of play. Irwin Wenham's late challenge caught a Mundalla's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 60th minute, Edwardo Phillips left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mundalla fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. After 67 played minutes Bindle got a freekick which was hit by Randolph Peach. Edwardo Phillips recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 71st minute, Ray Markwell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edwardo Phillips received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Dugald Kepert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ray Markwell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dugald Kepert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edwardo Phillips in the 89th minute of the match. Mundalla were awarded a corner in the 92th minute after Bindle's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mark Osbiston took the corner.
