Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Marshall Bowman made the kick off and thus started the match. The audience was convinced that Carlisle Egel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Daniel Gaines was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. Strathblane's supporters rose to their feet, but Jayden Macumber was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Karl Wenham breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 22nd minute Marshall Bowman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl Wenham saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marshall Bowman in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Karl Wenham saved York from getting behind. The supporters of York booed when Strathblane was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brad Orvad didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 29 minutes, Joshua Holdsworth mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Strathblane and the York players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Strathblane getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Joshua Holdsworth hit a great ball. Karl Wenham made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jayden Macumber in the 33rd minute. Karl Wenham showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marshall Bowman in the 35th minute of the match. Daniel Gaines took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alford Beer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Alford Beer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Carlisle Egel to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Strathblane's Joshua Holdsworth sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Karl Wenham narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Karl Wenham showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marshall Bowman in the 57th minute of the match. If Jayden Macumber had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alford Beer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Daniel Gaines tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jayden Macumber's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Karl Wenham read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. Carlisle Egel charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carlisle Egel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 75 played minutes York got a freekick which was hit by Carlisle Egel. Marshall Bowman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marshall Bowman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Karl Wenham having to make a save. Karl Wenham showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marshall Bowman in the 88th minute of the match. Alford Beer struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Daniel Gaines didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for York. Hank Whitsitt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Daniel Gaines tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Strathblane's Daniel Gaines proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Strathblane from getting a goal against them. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
