Baddaginnie's Jarrett Gaines played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dario Adair in the 36th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, Dario Adair took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Jarrett Gaines to make any attempt to save it. If Dario Adair had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jaffery Maddern stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Dario Adair's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jarrett Gaines was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Baddaginnie's zone, Jacob Maslin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jarrett Gaines came out of the goal and Jacob Maslin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jaffery Maddern charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jaffery Maddern the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ronald Plummer's late challenge caught a Baddaginnie's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ronald Plummer helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Kangaroo United's Ronald Plummer got a free kick in the 61st minute. A collision led to Baddaginnie getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Ellis Fessey hit a great ball. In the 64th minute, Jacob Maslin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ronald Plummer got his second yellow card in the match during the 66th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Baddaginnie booed when Kangaroo United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ronald Plummer didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Baddaginnie's goalkeeper Jarrett Gaines, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jacob Maslin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Jarrett Gaines tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Alexander Laws managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kangaroo United's supporters rose to their feet, but Alexander Laws was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jarrett Gaines breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jarrett Gaines showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacob Maslin in the 89th minute of the match. After 90 played minutes Kangaroo United got a freekick which was hit by Dario Adair. Kangaroo United's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
