If Dario Adair had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Arneil Dowsing charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arneil Dowsing the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 14th minute, Arneil Dowsing hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Dario Adair's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Quade Caddick was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. Arneil Dowsing struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Bradshaw White didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Buchan. Quade Caddick showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dario Adair in the 20th minute of the match. Murphey Trevena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bradshaw White having to interfere. The supporters of Buchan booed when Kangaroo United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ronald Plummer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Russel Tebbit hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Bradshaw White took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laurence Boothey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 33 minutes into the game, Edmonds Mcgregor recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bradshaw White. Edmonds Mcgregor showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Bill Wivell kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Bradshaw White made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laurence Boothey in the 38th minute of play. Bradshaw White showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laurence Boothey, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Alexander Laws charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alexander Laws the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Laurence Boothey was the one to do the kick off. Bradshaw White showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Murphey Trevena in the 70th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arneil Dowsing in the 74th minute of play forced Kangaroo United's goalkeeper Bradshaw White to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Dario Adair managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kangaroo United's supporters rose to their feet, but Dario Adair was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Quade Caddick breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Kangaroo United's zone, Laurence Boothey stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bradshaw White came out of the goal and Laurence Boothey tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 91st match minute, Kangaroo United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronald Plummer to maneuver through the defense. Edmonds Mcgregor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bradshaw White having to interfere. In the 97th minute Murphey Trevena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bradshaw White saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Buchan had won after a very even match.
