Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) In the 6thth minute of the game Edmonds Mcgregor who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Baddaginnie's Jarrett Gaines was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Murphey Trevena's late challenge caught a Baddaginnie's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Murphey Trevena helped the player get up and apologised. In the 8th minute, Murphey Trevena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Edmonds Mcgregor managed to get in a good position for a shot. Buchan's supporters rose to their feet, but Edmonds Mcgregor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jarrett Gaines breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Laurence Boothey in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jarrett Gaines saved Baddaginnie from getting behind. Jarrett Gaines showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmonds Mcgregor in the 18th minute of the match. Jarrett Gaines made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laurence Boothey in the 22nd minute of play. After 24 minutes, Laurence Boothey made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Baddaginnie's Jarrett Gaines tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Laurence Boothey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benney Wilson kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Arneil Dowsing received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Jarrett Gaines tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edmonds Mcgregor in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jarrett Gaines saved Baddaginnie from getting behind. Edmonds Mcgregor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Baddaginnie players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Buchan were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Laurence Boothey to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Danny Kuskopf ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Quade Caddick was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. In the 58thth minute of the game Laurence Boothey who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Baddaginnie's Jarrett Gaines was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Laurence Boothey was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 62nd minute. Buchan's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. If Edmonds Mcgregor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Buchan's Laurence Boothey in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Baddaginnie's goalie prevented a goal. Jarrett Gaines made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edmonds Mcgregor in the 72nd minute. Laurence Boothey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Ellis Fessey fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Baddaginnie's protests and gave Ellis Fessey a yellow card for diving instead. Edmonds Mcgregor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Jarrett Gaines tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 81 minutes into the match, Baddaginnie's goal looked a bit too open when Laurence Boothey came free, but Jarrett Gaines reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Laurence Boothey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Jarrett Gaines tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Laurence Boothey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Laurence Boothey in the 91st minute of play forced Baddaginnie's goalkeeper Jarrett Gaines to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edmonds Mcgregor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Laurence Boothey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jarrett Gaines having to interfere. Buchan played a much better game than Baddaginnie and deserved their victory. The Baddaginnie players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
