Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Nilson Ross started the match with the kick off. Bryden Biddell in the 4thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gregg Potter, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Birrell Greenan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Birrell Greenan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Gregg Potter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 15 minutes into the match, Kotara's goal looked a bit too open when Birrell Greenan came free, but Gregg Potter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tobie Tarrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacobs Stageman in the 19th minute of play. Tobie Tarrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacobs Stageman in the 23rd minute of the match. Jacobs Stageman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Tobie Tarrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jacobs Stageman struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Tobie Tarrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kotara. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kotara's goalkeeper Gregg Potter, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 39 minutes, Jacobs Stageman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kotara's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jacobs Stageman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bryden Biddells short, quick shot in the 42ndth minute got Gregg Potter to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Birrell Greenan to make the kick off. A collision led to Kotara getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Connor Oneill hit a great ball. Birrell Greenan struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Gregg Potter didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Morisset. Tobie Tarrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nilson Ross, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Jacobs Stageman might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tobie Tarrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jacobs Stageman ran back to his position shaking his head. Nilson Ross received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Tobie Tarrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 67 minutes into the match, Birrell Greenan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gregg Potter. Kotara's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Birrell Greenan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 71st match minute, Morisset was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benedict Wege to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bryden Biddell in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gregg Potter saved Kotara from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Birrell Greenan in the 77th minute of play forced Kotara's goalkeeper Gregg Potter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Morisset booed when Kotara was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rudolph Brooks didn't get a good kick on the ball. 84 minutes into the match, Kotara's goal looked a bit too open when Bryden Biddell came free, but Gregg Potter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Birrell Greenan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Birrell Greenan in the 89th minute of play forced Kotara's goalkeeper Gregg Potter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Nilson Ross had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the Kotara players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Morisset.
