After 4 minutes, Marcus Boserio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Suzan and the Greendale players grew even worse after the yellow card. Marcus Boserio hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Handley Alcock made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bran Prinsep in the 13th minute of play. If Ryan Mcvicar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Kyle Whitmore managed to get in a good position for a shot. Greendale's supporters rose to their feet, but Kyle Whitmore was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luke Czaczka breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bruno Coldicutt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luke Czaczka having to interfere. Greendale's Bruno Coldicutt got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bruno Coldicutt in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luke Czaczka prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 23rd minute, Kyle Whitmore left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Greendale fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Bruno Coldicutt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Luke Czaczka tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Suzan's goalkeeper Luke Czaczka, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 34 minutes into the game, Greendale's Kyle Whitmore nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luke Czaczka made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Bruno Coldicutt's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luke Czaczka read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. A collision led to Greendale getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Martyon Waller hit a great ball. In the 47th match minute, Greendale was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Leydin to maneuver through the defense. After the first half Greendale were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bran Prinsep to strike the kick off in the second half. Bruno Coldicutt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Luke Czaczka tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Suzan's zone, Kyle Whitmore stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luke Czaczka came out of the goal and Kyle Whitmore tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match clock showed 62 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Bruno Coldicutt sped through Suzan's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Luke Czaczka. Handley Alcock showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bran Prinsep, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Ryan Mcvicar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Leydin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luke Czaczka having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Coldicutt in the 76th minute of play forced Suzan's goalkeeper Luke Czaczka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Greendale fans' excitement grew in the 82nd match minute when Greendale's Kyle Whitmore looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After having played for 87 minutes, Kyle Whitmore managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Greendale's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kyle Whitmore was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpected shot in the 90th minute by Bruno Coldicutt got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Bruno Coldicutt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kyle Whitmore got free with Luke Czaczka in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Suzan getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Marcus Boserio hit a great ball. Greendale's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
