Spectators: 5765 (Terracing: 4500, Seating: 1250, VIP seats: 15) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Darley Mcmanamny started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Man Stoj FC's goalkeeper Brad Knevett had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jonathan Stockwin. In the 5th minute of the match Jarvis Kuskop sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Brent Moorby skillfully saved the ball. Jonathan Stockwin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Earl Lonergan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Brent Moorby tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 20 minutes into the match, Kathmandu Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Earl Lonergan came free, but Brent Moorby reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edmundson Brooks scored 0-2 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Brent Moorby, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Edmundson Brooks sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Earl Lonergan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Brent Moorby read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Brent Moorby showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Earl Lonergan in the 29th minute of the match. If Edmundson Brooks had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Earl Lonergan struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Brent Moorby didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Man Stoj FC. Earl Lonergan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Brent Moorby read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. The Kathmandu Academy players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Man Stoj FC were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Earl Lonergan made a kick off. Edmundson Brooks sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 58 played minutes Kathmandu Academy got a freekick which was hit by Benney Lowes. In the 64th minute, Kathmandu Academy's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Earl Lonergan fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Edmundson Brooks sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Brent Moorby took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Earl Lonergan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kathmandu Academy's Brent Moorby proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Kathmandu Academy from getting a goal against them. Earl Lonergan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edmundson Brooks received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Brent Moorby tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edmundson Brookss short, quick shot in the 96thth minute got Brent Moorby to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Earl Lonergan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Man Stoj FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Man Stoj FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
