Spectators: 7275 (Terracing: 5775, Seating: 1450, VIP seats: 50) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Zackery Kuskop started the match with the kick off. If Paco Kennedy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Loyd Goldsmith hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Yulgilbar's zone, Marshal Tongs stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Grant Trevena came out of the goal and Marshal Tongs tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 16 minutes into the match, Marshal Tongs notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Yulgilbar's Grant Trevena. Grant Trevena was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Bryanne Veitch fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Brookfield's protests and gave Bryanne Veitch a yellow card for diving instead. In the 26th minute, Bryanne Veitch hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bartholemew Gronow was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 27th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. A collision led to Brookfield getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. James Howarth hit a great ball. After having played for 33 minutes, Zackery Kuskop managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yulgilbar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zackery Kuskop was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Jerrard Colman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 41 played minutes Brookfield got a freekick which was hit by James Howarth. When Zackery Kuskop, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 47 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Humphry Minton was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Paco Kennedy stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jerrard Colman's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 55thth minute, Humphry Minton skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Jerrard Colman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zackery Kuskop received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Humphry Minton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Jerrard Colman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 62 played minutes Yulgilbar got a freekick which was hit by Loyd Goldsmith. Yulgilbar's Jerrard Colman got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zackery Kuskop received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Humphry Minton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Brookfield's goalkeeper Humphry Minton, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marshal Tongs in the 77th minute of play forced Yulgilbar's goalkeeper Grant Trevena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yulgilbar's Grant Trevena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marshal Tongs in the 85th minute of play. Humphry Minton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zackery Kuskop in the 88th minute of play. Humphry Minton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zackery Kuskop, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marshal Tongs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 94 minutes of play Yulgilbar's Loyd Goldsmith was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 95 played minutes Yulgilbar got a freekick which was hit by Loyd Goldsmith. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paco Kennedy in the 96th minute of play forced Yulgilbar's goalkeeper Grant Trevena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yulgilbar were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
