Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) THEBOISFC's Jared Byrnes started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The crowd rose to their feet as Jared Byrnes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dante Pearman. That made the score 1-0 in the 7 minute of play. Northcote's Dante Pearman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jared Byrnes in the 14th minute of play. Nilson Pinhey hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Northcote's zone, Irwin Tisdell stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dante Pearman came out of the goal and Irwin Tisdell tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Jared Byrnes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 21 minutes into the match, Northcote's goalkeeper Dante Pearman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Irwin Tisdell. If Stewart Hess had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Northcote's Nilson Pinhey got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 30 minutes into the game, THEBOISFC's Irwin Tisdell nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dante Pearman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Dante Pearman was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jared Byrnes showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 34 minute of play. Irwin Tisdell's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dante Pearman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Stewart Hess to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Bryson Wayland left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The THEBOISFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Stewart Hess sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luke Barling's late challenge caught a Northcote's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luke Barling helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Northcote booed when THEBOISFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luke Barling didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jared Byrnes struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Dante Pearman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for THEBOISFC. Northcote's Dante Pearman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jared Byrnes in the 65th minute of play. If Irwin Tisdell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Irwin Tisdell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Irwin Tisdell in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dante Pearman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 77 minutes into the match, Irwin Tisdell had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dante Pearman. Northcote's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Irwin Tisdell was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. The audience was convinced that Irwin Tisdell's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dante Pearman was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. In the 85th match minute, Northcote was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nilson Pinhey to maneuver through the defense. Dante Pearman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jared Byrnes, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. After 87 minutes, Angus Maddern mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Northcote and the THEBOISFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Angus Maddern kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. 88 minutes into the match, Jared Byrnes notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Northcote's Dante Pearman. Dante Pearman was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 91st minute, Nilson Pinhey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. THEBOISFC's Jared Byrnes got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. For all the effort they put into the match, the Northcote players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for THEBOISFC.
