Edmundson Newton showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-7. Jaffery Wakefield made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Edmundson Newton sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Howard Adamson during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 79 played minutes As Roma got a freekick which was hit by Howard Adamson. In the 84th minute, Arnold Mccormick made a precise shot to the right of Jaffery Wakefield. As Roma's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-8. 87 minutes into the match, As Roma's goalkeeper Jaffery Wakefield had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edmundson Newton. In the 90th minute, Edmundson Newton made a precise shot to the right of Jaffery Wakefield. As Roma's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-9. When Phillip Sinden came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Frances fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Phillip Sinden couldn't finish the play. With an all-out effort, Frances's Jaffery Wakefield threw himself towards the right post 97 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Phillip Sinden, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Frances played a much better game than As Roma and deserved their victory. The As Roma players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
