Spectators: 6775 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1775, VIP seats: 0) Arty Oreilly started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After a defensive mix-up in Goondi's zone, Arty Oreilly stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bart Schenck came out of the goal and Arty Oreilly tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 7 minutes into the match, Nackara's goal looked a bit too open when Michael Odonahoo came free, but Jess Waters reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Nackara's goalkeeper Jess Waters, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Conner Markou charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Conner Markou the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 9 played minutes Nackara got a freekick which was hit by Conner Markou. Jess Waters made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chuck Chamberlain in the 11th minute of play. After some careless play in the Nackara defense, Michael Odonahoo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jess Waters. The Nackara fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jess Waters should have stopped the shot. After 18 played minutes Nackara got a freekick which was hit by Conner Markou. Goondi's Michael Odonahoo got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Chuck Chamberlain sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Bray Black had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 42nd minute, Michael Odonahoo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Goondi fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Michael Odonahoo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Michael Odonahoo struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Jess Waters didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Goondi. Jess Waters made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michael Odonahoo in the 60th minute of play. Jess Waters took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michael Odonahoo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Michael Odonahoo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jess Waters having to interfere. If Chuck Chamberlain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Goondi's Billy Benton couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 68th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Nackara. The Goondi fans' excitement grew in the 72nd match minute when Goondi's Michael Odonahoo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Michael Odonahoo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Jess Waters tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Nackara booed when Goondi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Peter Mcwilliam didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bray Black received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Bart Schenck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bray Black fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bart Schenck having to interfere. The supporters of Nackara booed when Goondi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matthews Fitzsimmons didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nackara's Jess Waters played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michael Odonahoo in the 91st minute of play. Chuck Chamberlain's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jess Waters read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play.
