Andrew Sayner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jess Waters having to interfere. Barney Bostock recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Barney Bostock sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Nackara's zone, Andrew Sayner stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jess Waters came out of the goal and Andrew Sayner tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arty Oreilly made a kick off. If Andrew Sayner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jess Waters showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Barney Bostock, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Gomersal's Barney Bostock slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jess Waters. That made the score 0-1 after 68 minutes of play. Gomersal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andrew Sayner was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Edgar Kesi fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nackara's protests and gave Edgar Kesi a yellow card for diving instead. Edgar Kesi kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Andrew Sayner succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-2 in the 75th playminute. Jess Waters showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Barney Bostock in the 86th minute of the match. In the 87th minute, Andrew Sayner got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Barney Bostock in the 89th minute of play forced Nackara's goalkeeper Jess Waters to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Barney Bostock fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jess Waters having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Nackara's Edgar Kesi got a free kick in the 92nd minute. 94 minutes into the match, Nackara's goalkeeper Jess Waters had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Andrew Sayner. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Andrew Sayner managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gomersal's supporters rose to their feet, but Andrew Sayner was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jess Waters breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
