Russ Pywell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jarrett Johnson in the 41st minute of the match. In the 45th match minute, Koorway was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rufus Norman to maneuver through the defense. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Brookes Fitzsimmons made a kick off. 54 minutes had been played when some careless play by Koorway's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Philip Kirkham was slow to take the kick. During this time Boolambayte's players had a chance to rest. Boolambayte's Dane Favas got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Koorway's Danny Orvad got control of the ball when Jasmine Mcinnes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Koorway's defense didn't have a chance, in the 57th minute, when Jasmine Mcinnes scored to the left of an out of position Danny Orvad, making the score, 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Boolambayte's zone, Jesse Waters stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Russ Pywell came out of the goal and Jesse Waters tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Brookes Fitzsimmons fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danny Orvad having to interfere. 69 minutes into the game, Jarrett Johnson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Russ Pywell was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Russ Pywell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jarrett Johnson in the 74th minute of play. Koorway's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Brookes Fitzsimmons 75 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-2. Russ Pywell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jesse Waters, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. After a rather tough play, Boolambayte's Brookes Fitzsimmons got a free kick in the 88th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jasmine Mcinnes got free with Danny Orvad in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jasmine Mcinnes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Danny Orvad having to make a save. Jesse Waters scored 2-2 in the 97th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Russ Pywell, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
