Christopher Brennand showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bryce Tevelien in the 18th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Alex Quinane managed to get in a good position for a shot. Morea's supporters rose to their feet, but Alex Quinane was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rick Woods breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Morea's goalkeeper Christopher Brennand, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rick Woods made an important save on a dangerous shot by Biddle Rhodes in the 27th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex Quinane in the 28th minute of play forced Kilkivan's goalkeeper Rick Woods to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Biddle Rhodes got free with Rick Woods in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 31 minutes into the match, Biddle Rhodes dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Rick Woods, 1-0. Morea's Christopher Brennand played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charles Pinkerton in the 35th minute of play. Rick Woods made an important save on a dangerous shot by Biddle Rhodes in the 40th minute. After having played for 42 minutes, Biddle Rhodes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Morea's supporters crossed their fingers, but Biddle Rhodes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 43rd minute, Alex Quinane got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 47th minute, Bryce Tevelien got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alex Quinane to make the kick off. When Alex Quinane came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Morea fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alex Quinane couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alfred Venz during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Marshal Weatherby was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 62nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Biddle Rhodes might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rick Woods. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Neville Oneill helped the player get up and apologised. Alex Quinane sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 90th minute, Bryce Tevelien fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Christopher Brennand, passed just outside the right post. Kilkivan's Remy Argoud shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 92nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Christopher Brennand but with some difficulty. After having played for 96 minutes, Alex Quinane managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Morea's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alex Quinane was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Morea fully deserved thier win.
