Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Artie Salcedo got the match started through his kick off. The supporters of Wattening booed when Toolbrunup was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Artie Salcedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ernest Schulze blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Carmichael Oshea having to make a save. Darren Boots sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Toolbrunup's Berry Kean got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Jake Annis kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Carmichael Oshea. That made the score 1-0 in the 18 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Wattening's Andre Goodbun got a free kick in the 21st minute. 22 minutes into the match, Wattening's goal looked a bit too open when Allen Mcjunkin came free, but Art Cawthorne reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carmichael Oshea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernest Schulze in the 27th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ernest Schulze in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carmichael Oshea saved Toolbrunup from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bevis Mcvicar during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Bevis Mcvicar hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. After 40 minutes, Lewis Paddle mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Wattening and the Toolbrunup players grew even worse after the yellow card. Carmichael Oshea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jake Annis, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. If Jake Annis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ernest Schulze came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Wattening fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ernest Schulze couldn't finish the play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jake Annis to strike the kick off in the second half. Carmichael Oshea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernest Schulze in the 53rd minute of the match. Wattening's Art Cawthorne played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Artie Salcedo in the 55th minute of play. Carmichael Oshea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Darren Boots in the 56th minute of play. In the 62nd minute, Jake Annis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Wattening fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Wattening's Jake Annis got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jake Annis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carmichael Oshea having to interfere. Darren Boots sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Toolbrunup's Allen Mcjunkin slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Art Cawthorne. That made the score 4-1 after 73 minutes of play. Darren Boots sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carmichael Oshea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jake Annis, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. 80 minutes into the game, Ernest Schulze cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Carmichael Oshea was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Toolbrunup's Carmichael Oshea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Darren Boots in the 83rd minute of play. Carmichael Oshea came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Wattening's Jake Annis. But to his dismay, Jake Annis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1. If Ernest Schulze had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92nd minute, Lewis Paddle got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Carmichael Oshea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernest Schulze in the 93rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Toolbrunup's zone, Jake Annis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carmichael Oshea came out of the goal and Jake Annis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 96 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Wattening's Jake Annis fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head.
