Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) 3 minutes into the match, Wattening's goalkeeper Art Cawthorne had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Barnard Anders. Wattening's Art Cawthorne proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Wattening from getting a goal against them. After 9 minutes, Darren Boots mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Wattening and the Gooloongolok players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Wattening's Darren Boots got a free kick in the 9th minute. Lewis Paddle kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Andre Goodbun managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wattening's supporters rose to their feet, but Andre Goodbun was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thomas Huther breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Ernest Schulze had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 31st minute, Best Wal reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Art Cawthorne. The goal made the score 1-0. In the 35th minute Ernest Schulze shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thomas Huther saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 37th minute, Jake Annis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Art Cawthorne took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brook Beattie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 45 minutes, Jake Annis put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Thomas Huther. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Brook Beattie made a kick off. Art Cawthorne showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Connor Mcmanamny, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Brendon Groves took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Art Cawthorne. Art Cawthorne dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Art Cawthorne showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Best Wal in the 56th minute of the match. In the 58th minute Jake Annis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thomas Huther saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 58 minutes, Best Wal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gooloongolok and the Wattening players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Gooloongolok's Best Wal got a free kick in the 58th minute. Art Cawthorne made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brendon Groves in the 63rd minute of play. 64 minutes into the game, Barnard Anders threw the ball into play from the sideline. Wattening's Darren Boots quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Lewis Paddle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thomas Huther having to interfere. Thomas Huther showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernest Schulze, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brook Beattie in the 80th minute of play forced Wattening's goalkeeper Art Cawthorne to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Wattening defense, Brendon Groves kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Art Cawthorne. The Wattening fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Art Cawthorne should have stopped the shot. In the 91stth minute of the game Jake Annis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gooloongolok's Thomas Huther was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ernest Schulze fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thomas Huther having to interfere. After 93 played minutes Gooloongolok got a freekick which was hit by Best Wal. Thomas Huther showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jake Annis in the 95th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Gooloongolok's zone, Ernest Schulze stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thomas Huther came out of the goal and Ernest Schulze tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wattening's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Gooloongolok had won, even though Wattening had held more of the ball.
