After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Blake Locke managed to get in a good position for a shot. blackwoood's supporters rose to their feet, but Blake Locke was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jake Laughton breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Roy Didlick in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jake Laughton prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 11 minutes into the match, Blake Locke had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jake Laughton. inter-mum's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Blake Locke was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Grant Pukallus's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Buck Mcgaw read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, inter-mum's Christian Mcmahon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Buck Mcgaw narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Blake Locke got free with Jake Laughton in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 38th minute, Blake Locke made a precise shot to the right of Jake Laughton. inter-mum's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. If Christian Mcmahon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Grant Pukallus was the one to do the kick off. Mack Schultz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 54th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jake Laughton. inter-mum's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Blake Locke came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the blackwoood fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Blake Locke couldn't finish the play. In the 62nd minute of the match Boyd Worrall shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jake Laughton showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 63 minutes into the game, Lance Malacarne was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. inter-mum's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave blackwoood the free kick. After a rather tough play, inter-mum's Lance Malacarne got a free kick in the 63rd minute. When Blake Locke came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the blackwoood fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Blake Locke couldn't finish the play.
