Spectators: 6782 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1782, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rufus Convine started the match with the kick off. Carleton Christian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Edgar Mosley stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Neale Connell's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. In the 17th minute, Howie Magrath got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Carleton Christian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Edgar Mosley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mukinbudin's Edgar Mosley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carleton Christian in the 21st minute of play. The supporters of Mukinbudin booed when Coleraine was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fleming Christina didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Clark Fortington in the 23rd minute really tested Anthony Kirkham's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 24th minute, Carleton Christian ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edgar Mosley was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 32nd minute, Bryson Mcjunkins hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mukinbudin's Edgar Mosley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carleton Christian in the 33rd minute of play. Neale Connell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Edgar Mosley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Neale Connell struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Edgar Mosley didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Coleraine. 44 minutes into the game, Brad Bielski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mukinbudin's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Coleraine the free kick. After 44 played minutes Mukinbudin got a freekick which was hit by Brad Bielski. Neale Connell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Edgar Mosley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Carleton Christian to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Neale Connell made a precise shot to the right of Edgar Mosley. Mukinbudin's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Edgar Mosley took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carleton Christian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carleton Christian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Edgar Mosley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Bernard Boylin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Neale Connell recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 78th match minute, Mukinbudin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bryson Mcjunkins to maneuver through the defense. Brad Bielski hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. In the 84th minute, Carleton Christian got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 86th minute, Neale Connell ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edgar Mosley was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carleton Christian in the 93rd minute of play forced Mukinbudin's goalkeeper Edgar Mosley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 95th minute Bernard Boylin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anthony Kirkham saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Coleraine's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
