Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Blade Kuch started the match with the kick off. Russell Thomas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Blade Kuch, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Blade Kuch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dario Muggleton struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Russell Thomas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nunga. Blade Kuch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Russell Thomas having to interfere. In the 19th minute Benney Burton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amos Mcneven saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Russell Thomas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Blade Kuch in the 21st minute of play. Blade Kuch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Russell Thomas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Arty Sparrow had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 31st minute, Benney Burton made a precise shot to the right of Amos Mcneven. Nunga's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 39 minutes into the game, Parker Laughton was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Perthominium's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nunga the free kick. After having played for 43 minutes, Blade Kuch managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nunga's supporters crossed their fingers, but Blade Kuch was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Nunga's zone, Benney Burton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amos Mcneven came out of the goal and Benney Burton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
Arty Sparrow fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amos Mcneven having to interfere. Neil Boots kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. In the 62nd minute, Bradshaw Willison left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nunga fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Perthominium's Arty Sparrow got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arty Sparrow got free with Amos Mcneven in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Amos Mcneven made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benney Burton in the 74th minute of play. After having played for 85 minutes, Blade Kuch managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nunga's supporters crossed their fingers, but Blade Kuch was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 90th minute, Bradshaw Willison hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nunga's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Benney Burton 91 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-2. Perthominium's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
