Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Peter Hinder took the kick off in the first half of the match. Antony Biddell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 9 played minutes Palmervill got a freekick which was hit by Bjorn Brien. In the 10th minute, Peter Hinder made a precise shot to the right of Ivan Solomon. Palmervill's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Ivan Solomon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundson Deeth in the 15th minute of play. After 15 played minutes Palmervill got a freekick which was hit by Rodney Gummow. Eliot Vaughan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antony Biddell in the 21st minute of the match. When Palmervill's Antony Biddell in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bayswater's goalie prevented a goal. Ivan Solomon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Malcolm Hinwood in the 24th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antony Biddell in the 26th minute of play forced Bayswater's goalkeeper Eliot Vaughan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eliot Vaughan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Barnard Sewell in the 27th minute. 27 minutes into the game, Darell Hayward was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bayswater's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Palmervill the free kick. Peter Hinder's late challenge caught a Palmervill's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Peter Hinder helped the player get up and apologised. Peter Hinder kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. In the 32nd minute, Antony Biddell got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpected shot in the 36th minute by Barnard Sewell got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 37 minutes into the match, Bayswater's goal looked a bit too open when Antony Biddell came free, but Eliot Vaughan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 39th minute of the match, Antony Biddell tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Eliot Vaughan saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Barnard Sewell's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eliot Vaughan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. In the 46th minute, one of Bayswater:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Bayswater. After the first half Bayswater were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Antony Biddell to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Bayswater's goal looked a bit too open when Antony Biddell came free, but Eliot Vaughan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Bayswater's Darell Hayward got a free kick in the 54th minute. If Antony Biddell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eliot Vaughan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Barnard Sewell's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. 65 minutes into the match, Antony Biddell had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eliot Vaughan. Bayswater's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Antony Biddell was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Palmervill's Antony Biddell got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Peter Hinder managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bayswater's supporters rose to their feet, but Peter Hinder was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ivan Solomon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Barnard Sewell's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eliot Vaughan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. Eliot Vaughan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bjorn Brien, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. 82 minutes into the match, Bayswater's goal looked a bit too open when Barnard Sewell came free, but Eliot Vaughan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Peter Hinder took a quick shot and it went in 2-3 without a chance for Ivan Solomon to make any attempt to save it. Barnard Sewell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Barnard Sewell struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Eliot Vaughan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Palmervill. Eliot Vaughan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antony Biddell in the 94th minute of the match. 96 minutes into the match, Barnard Sewell had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eliot Vaughan. Bayswater's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Barnard Sewell was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-3.
