Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Glenreagh's Jack Hauschildt started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd minute, Roy Tupman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Darell Convine fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bradley Howie having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Lidcomb's Nicholas Williams got a free kick in the 10th minute. 11 minutes into the match, Lidcomb's goalkeeper Bradley Howie had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Darell Convine. Abbott Dollamore hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. If Darell Convine had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. In the 24th minute of the game, Darell Convine landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. When Abbott Dollamore fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lidcomb's protests and gave Abbott Dollamore a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Lidcomb getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Abbott Dollamore hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Jack Hauschildt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Glenreagh's supporters rose to their feet, but Jack Hauschildt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bradley Howie breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 30 minutes into the game, Marcus Hines was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lidcomb's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Glenreagh the free kick. In the 31st match minute, Lidcomb was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcus Hines to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Glenreagh's Fletcher Cookesley tried to score from far away in the 32nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Darin Sobczak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bradley Howie having to interfere. Jack Hauschildt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Darin Sobczak got free with Bradley Howie in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Roy Tupman made a kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Carlisle Ancell managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lidcomb's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlisle Ancell was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Carlisle Ancell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carleton Newton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roy Tupman in the 55th minute of play. 56 minutes in the game, Carlisle Ancell fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Carleton Newton having to interfere. Bradley Howie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jack Hauschildt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Darin Sobczak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jack Hauschildt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bradley Howie having to interfere. In the 68th minute, Jack Hauschildt made a precise shot to the right of Bradley Howie. Lidcomb's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Bradley Howie didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aaron Fitton went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Nicholas Williams's late challenge caught a Glenreagh's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nicholas Williams helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Lidcomb's Nicholas Williams got a free kick in the 80th minute.
