Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cassidy Prinsep started the match with the kick off. Cassidy Prinsep received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Kane Maunsell made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cassidy Prinsep in the 24th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Moonford's Earl Bonnison slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Kane Maunsell. That made the score 1-0 after 26 minutes of play. Brad Wang charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Brad Wang the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Moonford getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Brad Wang hit a great ball. 31 minutes into the match, Moonford's Cassidy Prinsep sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kane Maunsell narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Brockman Mcmurchie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Kane Maunsell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cassidy Prinsep recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kane Maunsell made an important save on a dangerous shot by Brockman Mcmurchie in the 45th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Boyce Ludwick to make the kick off. Brockman Mcmurchie struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Kane Maunsell didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Moonford. Kane Maunsell came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Moonford's Brockman Mcmurchie. But to his dismay, Brockman Mcmurchie quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. In the 60th minute Brockman Mcmurchie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kane Maunsell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Brockman Mcmurchie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 65th minute, Cassidy Prinsep made a precise shot to the right of Kane Maunsell. Toogong's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. If Cassidy Prinsep had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Kane Maunsell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brockman Mcmurchie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 74th minute Cassidy Prinsep shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kane Maunsell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Cassidy Prinsep had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Toogong defense, Brockman Mcmurchie kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kane Maunsell. The Toogong fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kane Maunsell should have stopped the shot. Kane Maunsell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Earl Bonnison, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Brockman Mcmurchie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Toogong's Kane Maunsell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cassidy Prinsep in the 92nd minute of play. Brockman Mcmurchie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kane Maunsell having to interfere. There was no doubt that Moonford were the better team. Moonford's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
