After some careless play in the Tarrawingee defense, Bruno Wal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Brynn Mcquinn. The Tarrawingee fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Brynn Mcquinn should have stopped the shot. Barry Kirkham received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Brynn Mcquinn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Handley Mcjenkins fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tarrawingee's protests and gave Handley Mcjenkins a yellow card for diving instead. After 32 played minutes Tarrawingee got a freekick which was hit by Handley Mcjenkins. Brynn Mcquinn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruno Wal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mark Gaines made a kick off. Mark Gaines fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Quade Dollymore having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, David Ward managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tarrawingee's supporters rose to their feet, but David Ward was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Quade Dollymore breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mark Gaines sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bruno Wal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Brynn Mcquinn having to make a save. Handley Mcjenkins got his second yellow card in the match during the 70th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 70 played minutes Tarrawingee got a freekick which was hit by Handley Mcjenkins. If Barry Kirkham had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Wal in the 75th minute of play forced Tarrawingee's goalkeeper Brynn Mcquinn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Barry Kirkham had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. David Ward took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Quade Dollymore. Quade Dollymore dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Hoyleton's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
