Randolph Pfingst helped the player get up and apologised. In the 10th match minute, EVATT was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Randolph Pfingst to maneuver through the defense. Roger Weeks showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruno Wal, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. The referee ignored Hoyleton's protests and gave Darrell Huntington a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Hoyleton's Darrell Huntington got a free kick in the 28th minute. Barry Kirkham's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roger Weeks read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, Hoyleton's goal looked a bit too open when Randolph Pfingst came free, but Quade Dollymore reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Randolph Pfingst in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Quade Dollymore prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

The supporters of EVATT booed when Hoyleton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Darrell Huntington didn't get a good kick on the ball. The EVATT players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
