A collision led to Tarrawingee getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Handley Mcjenkins hit a great ball. David Ward received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Alford Kuch came out and tried to block the shot, but David Ward slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 28th minute. When Tarrawingee's Mark Gaines in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bungeluke's goalie prevented a goal. Brynn Mcquinn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Crawford Brophy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mark Gaines to strike the kick off in the second half. Berkeley Clist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brynn Mcquinn having to interfere. Brynn Mcquinn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Crawford Brophy in the 65th minute of the match. If Mark Gaines had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tarrawingee's David Ward got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Bungeluke booed when Tarrawingee was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jenkins Lander didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Tarrawingee's Jenkins Lander got a free kick in the 77th minute. After having played for 96 minutes, Crawford Brophy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bungeluke's supporters crossed their fingers, but Crawford Brophy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Bungeluke players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Tarrawingee from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
