Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Zackery Gillingwater started the match with the kick off. Jonathan Pinal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of David Hinwood's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. Wongabel's Amos Haeberle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zackery Gillingwater in the 14th minute of play. A collision led to Wongabel getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Jayden Aliendi hit a great ball. Amos Haeberle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zackery Gillingwater, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th minute, Casper Matthes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Barnett Natt's late challenge caught a Wongabel's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Barnett Natt helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Wareek getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Barnett Natt hit a great ball. In the 35thth minute of the game Zackery Gillingwater who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Wongabel's Amos Haeberle was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Hinwood in the 37th minute of play forced Wareek's goalkeeper Jonathan Pinal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. David Hinwood hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. After 39 minutes, Jayden Aliendi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Wongabel and the Wareek players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Wareek booed when Wongabel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jayden Aliendi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ryan Leydin, 40 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Wongabel's zone, Zackery Gillingwater stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amos Haeberle came out of the goal and Zackery Gillingwater tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lewis Rose recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Amos Haeberle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zackery Gillingwater, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Wongabel's goalkeeper Amos Haeberle, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After the first half Wareek were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The wind increased when David Hinwood made the kick off in the second half. In a very dangerous position, a player in Wongabel fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 52nd minute. Penalty! If Lewis Rose had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Lewis Rose managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wareek's supporters rose to their feet, but Lewis Rose was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amos Haeberle breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lewis Rose got free with Amos Haeberle in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Wongabel's zone, Lewis Rose stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amos Haeberle came out of the goal and Lewis Rose tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zackery Gillingwater in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Amos Haeberle prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Wareek's Jonathan Pinal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgar Maciver in the 96th minute of play.
