Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Nichol Wenham kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raymond Brading in the 6th minute of play forced Idelwilds's goalkeeper Cullen Whitmore to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cullen Whitmore showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carver Haydock, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. When Raymond Brading came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Glenorie fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raymond Brading couldn't finish the play. Ace Cootes hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. 15 minutes into the game, Richard Andrusiow was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Glenorie's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Idelwilds the free kick. After 15 played minutes Glenorie got a freekick which was hit by Richard Andrusiow. Ellis Cordrey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cullen Whitmore having to interfere. 26 minutes into the game, Ellis Cordrey cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Cullen Whitmore was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Cassidy Rear took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Alexander Ambrose to make any attempt to save it. Cassidy Rear's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alexander Ambrose read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. In the 33rd play minute Cassidy Rear came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Alexander Ambrose. 2-1. Darrell Tupman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexander Ambrose having to interfere. Idelwilds's Cassidy Rear got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Darrell Tupman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Alexander Ambrose tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Idelwilds booed when Glenorie was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kane Awege didn't get a good kick on the ball. 47 minutes into the match, Idelwilds's goal looked a bit too open when Ellis Cordrey came free, but Cullen Whitmore reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Alexander Ambrose took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nichol Wenham, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Glenorie defense, Cassidy Rear kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alexander Ambrose. The Glenorie fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alexander Ambrose should have stopped the shot. Ellis Cordrey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cullen Whitmore having to interfere. Raymond Brading could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Cullen Whitmore made a huge save. Idelwilds's Cullen Whitmore played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carver Haydock in the 66th minute of play. Alexander Ambrose came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Idelwilds's Cassidy Rear. But to his dismay, Cassidy Rear quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. After 72 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Idelwilds! Cullen Whitmore went to the wrong direction when Cregan Heath was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Payton Stevens during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Alexander Ambrose didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cassidy Rear went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. If Cassidy Rear had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 89 minutes into the game, Idelwilds's Cassidy Rear nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alexander Ambrose made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-1. Idelwilds's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
