Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Andy Pegler made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Silverspur's goalkeeper Brandon Minne, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Raymond Brading had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ellis Cordrey's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Brandon Minne read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. Crawford Christina hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. James Byrnes hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. After 21 minutes of play, Silverspur's Andy Pegler made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alexander Ambrose was left in no man's land by his defense there! James Byrnes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alexander Ambrose showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andy Pegler, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. 1-1 became the score in the 35th minute when Raymond Brading elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Raymond Brading fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brandon Minne having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ellis Cordrey in the 39th minute of play forced Silverspur's goalkeeper Brandon Minne to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Silverspur's James Byrnes got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ellis Cordrey hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Ellis Cordrey made the kick off in the second half. Silverspur's Brandon Minne played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ellis Cordrey in the 53rd minute of play. Brandon Minne made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raymond Brading in the 56th minute of play. In the 57th minute, Abbott Trezise hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Silverspur booed when Glenorie was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kane Awege didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 60 played minutes Silverspur got a freekick which was hit by Kent Freeman. Silverspur's Brandon Minne played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raymond Brading in the 64th minute of play. James Byrnes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexander Ambrose having to interfere. Raymond Brading sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 77th minute Ellis Cordrey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brandon Minne saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Raymond Brading fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brandon Minne having to interfere. Ellis Cordrey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Brandon Minne tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Silverspur's Andy Pegler in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Glenorie's goalie prevented a goal.
