Spectators: 6780 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1780, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Andy Pegler started the match with the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nichol Wenham in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Brandon Minne saved Silverspur from getting behind. Thanks to some nice moves James Byrnes could shoot a difficult shot in the 7th minute, which Cullen Whitmore however easily saved by the left post. When Darrell Tupman came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Idelwilds fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Darrell Tupman couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Silverspur's Caine Mapps got a free kick in the 10th minute. If Cassidy Rear had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Nichol Wenham's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Brandon Minne was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. 14 minutes into the match, Darrell Tupman notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Silverspur's Brandon Minne. Brandon Minne was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Nichol Wenham recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. James Byrnes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cullen Whitmore having to interfere. If Cassidy Rear had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Silverspur's zone, Carlisle Hart stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Brandon Minne came out of the goal and Carlisle Hart tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. James Byrnes's late challenge caught a Idelwilds's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. James Byrnes helped the player get up and apologised. In the 27th minute, James Byrnes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cassidy Rear received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Brandon Minne tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 37 minutes, Carlisle Hart managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Idelwilds's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlisle Hart was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Silverspur's Antonia Boserio shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 41st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Cullen Whitmore but with some difficulty. Carlisle Hart kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Cassidy Rear received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Brandon Minne tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 47th match minute, Silverspur was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paul Hitchen to maneuver through the defense.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nichol Wenham to strike the kick off in the second half. Darrell Tupman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Brandon Minne read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. Nichol Wenham took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Brandon Minne. Brandon Minne dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Carlisle Hart sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carlisle Hart who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 61stth minute tested the skills of Brandon Minne when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Carlisle Hart recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Silverspur getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Paul Hitchen hit a great ball. Idelwilds's Cullen Whitmore played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andy Pegler in the 68th minute of play. With his leg Brandon Minne managed to avoid a goal in the 71stth minute, when Idelwilds's Nichol Wenham fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 72 minutes into the match, Silverspur's goalkeeper Brandon Minne had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Darrell Tupman. Idelwilds's Darrell Tupman got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Brandon Minne showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cassidy Rear in the 85th minute of the match. Kent Freeman kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. If Darrell Tupman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Darrell Tupman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Darrell Tupman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Brandon Minne tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Idelwilds's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
