Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Alan Cuddihy kicked off to start the match. Olin Ward took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clarke Mckinley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Nambling getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Bradley Delbridge hit a great ball. If Alan Cuddihy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Clarke Mckinley during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Clarke Mckinley kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Nanneella's Byron Frew got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 24th minute, Byron Frew left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nanneella fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 28 minutes in the game, Angelo Bailey dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. 29 minutes into the game, Brockman Beins was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nanneella's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nambling the free kick. A collision led to Nanneella getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Brockman Beins hit a great ball. In the 30th minute, Brockman Beins hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Angelo Bailey's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Olin Ward was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. Angelo Bailey could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Olin Ward made a huge save. In the 38thth minute of the game Clarke Mckinley who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nanneella's Olin Ward was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Byron Frew sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Alan Cuddihy came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Nanneella fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alan Cuddihy couldn't finish the play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Clarke Mckinley stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alan Cuddihy in the 55th minute of play forced Nambling's goalkeeper Archie Heys to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nambling's Archie Heys played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alan Cuddihy in the 60th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Angelo Bailey's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Olin Ward was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. In the 66th minute, Raymond Turner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dwight Crampton shot from long distance in the 67th minute, but Archie Heys was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. Angelo Bailey recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Clarke Mckinley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Angelo Bailey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 81 played minutes Nanneella got a freekick which was hit by Alan Cuddihy. Angelo Bailey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olin Ward having to interfere. Nanneella's Olin Ward played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelo Bailey in the 91st minute of play. Olin Ward made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clarke Mckinley in the 96th minute of play. The Nambling supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Nanneella's performance. The match ended with a win for Nanneella.
