If Paco Mcquoid had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Baden's Paco Mcquoid got a free kick in the 5th minute. 10 minutes into the match, Alan Cuddihy dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Preston Muggleton, 1-0. Paco Mcquoid struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Olin Ward didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Baden. After a rather tough play, Nanneella's Brockman Beins got a free kick in the 23rd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by James Dowsing during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Alan Cuddihy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 31st minute, Byron Frew left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nanneella fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Byron Frew fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Preston Muggleton having to interfere. James Dowsing hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. After 42 played minutes Nanneella got a freekick which was hit by Benney Krause. After 43 played minutes, Baden's Navin Hogan shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Olin Ward came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Baden reached it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Byron Frew got free with Preston Muggleton in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 48thth minute of the game Paco Mcquoid who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nanneella's Olin Ward was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Paco Mcquoid to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Nanneella's goalkeeper Olin Ward had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Niles Johnston. In the 54thth minute of the game Byron Frew who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Baden's Preston Muggleton was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alan Cuddihy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benney Krause kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Baden's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Navin Hogan in the 60th minute. After taking down the ball on Baden's corner Navin Hogan fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Olin Ward quite easily take care of the ball. After a rather tough play, Baden's Luck Weeks got a free kick in the 67th minute. In the 69th minute Byron Frew shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Preston Muggleton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Preston Muggleton stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Byron Frew's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. Brockman Beins charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Brockman Beins the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Nanneella getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Brockman Beins hit a great ball. Olin Ward made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Niles Johnston sent off a good shot on target. 76 minutes into the match, Baden's goal looked a bit too open when Alan Cuddihy came free, but Preston Muggleton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Nanneella defense, Niles Johnston kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Olin Ward. The Nanneella fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Olin Ward should have stopped the shot. In the 88th minute, Dwight Crampton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 95 played minutes Paco Mcquoid rounded Nanneella's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 4-2. Nanneella's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
