Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Elliott Riley took the kick off in the first half of the match. 4 minutes into the match, Medowie's goal looked a bit too open when Elliott Riley came free, but Christian Hodson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 10 minutes into the game, Elliott Riley cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Christian Hodson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Christian Hodson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rob Murphy, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Christian Hodson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Elliott Riley's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. Christian Hodson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rob Murphy in the 19th minute of play. Chuck Petersen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernie Bower, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26th minute Elliott Riley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Hodson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Medowie's Christian Hodson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rob Murphy in the 27th minute of play. In the 28th minute Rob Murphy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Hodson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 34 played minutes Medowie got a freekick which was hit by Chuck Muggleton. Christian Hodson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rob Murphy in the 36th minute of the match. Kelvin Cridland hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Rob Murphy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 48th minute of the match, Bernie Bower tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Chuck Petersen saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 52nd minute, Bernie Bower left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Medowie fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Chuck Petersen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernie Bower, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 58thth minute of the game Carmichael Watson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Yea's Chuck Petersen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 60th minute, Rob Murphy made a precise shot to the right of Christian Hodson. Medowie's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Rob Murphy could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Christian Hodson made a huge save. 67 minutes into the match, Medowie's goal looked a bit too open when Elliott Riley came free, but Christian Hodson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In a very dangerous position, a player in Medowie fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 69th minute. Penalty! Through an outstanding action, after 82 minutes, Christian Hodson successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Medowie's Christian Hodson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Medowie from getting a goal against them. Elliott Riley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Hodson having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Laurence Cudmore kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Christian Hodson. That made the score 1-3 in the 90 minute of play. Medowie's Christian Hodson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Medowie from getting a goal against them. Rob Murphy could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Christian Hodson made a huge save. Yea's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
