The supporters of Medowie booed when Woolwich was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Irwin Hoskin didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 10th play minutes Carmichael Watson shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Darren Rennie and just under the crossbar into goal. Darren Rennie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carmichael Watson, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. After some careless play in the Medowie defense, Marshall Finden kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Christian Hodson. The Medowie fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Christian Hodson should have stopped the shot. Nash Flesfader received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Christian Hodson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Randolph Death hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Raleigh Dowsing took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 37th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Darren Rennie. Woolwich's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Bernie Bower fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Darren Rennie having to interfere. 43 minutes into the game, Medowie's Carmichael Watson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Darren Rennie made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. The Woolwich players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Medowie were winning 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nash Flesfader to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Ren Ashby got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nash Flesfader sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paz Staggard hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Carmichael Watson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Darren Rennie having to make a save. Bernie Bower showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. Bernie Bower received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Carmichael Watson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 87thth minute tested the skills of Darren Rennie when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 88 minutes into the match, Woolwich's goal looked a bit too open when Bernie Bower came free, but Darren Rennie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Medowie booed when Woolwich was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Steve Calver didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match was over Medowie could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Woolwich throughout the match.
