Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Medowie's Bernie Bower started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Medowie's Christian Hodson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Norm Carberry in the 5th minute of play. In the 9th match minute, Medowie was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chuck Muggleton to maneuver through the defense. In the 13th minute, Norm Carberry made a precise shot to the right of Christian Hodson. Medowie's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Jasmine Erwin had great luck who in the 17thth minute grab hold of the ball when Bernie Bower from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Randolph Death sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Randolph Death fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Medowie's protests and gave Randolph Death a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Northmead booed when Medowie was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Randolph Death didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bernie Bower who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 25thth minute tested the skills of Jasmine Erwin when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Carmichael Watson fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. In the 35th minute, George Clarke hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Medowie's Bran Parryman couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 35th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Northmead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernie Bower in the 41st minute of play forced Northmead's goalkeeper Jasmine Erwin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bernie Bower sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 46 minutes into the match, Medowie's Carmichael Watson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jasmine Erwin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After the first half Northmead were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Byron Phillips took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Christian Hodson to make any attempt to save it. Northmead's Jasmine Erwin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernie Bower in the 60th minute of play. In the 67th play minute Norm Carberry came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Christian Hodson. 0-3. A collision led to Northmead getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. George Clarke hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bernie Bower in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jasmine Erwin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Carmichael Watson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jasmine Erwin having to interfere. If Carmichael Watson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jasmine Erwin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernie Bower in the 84th minute of play. A collision led to Medowie getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Raleigh Dowsing hit a great ball. Byron Phillips received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Christian Hodson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Byron Phillips had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Northmead's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
