Chinbingina's Conner Odonahoo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carmichael Watson in the 12th minute of play. Bernie Bower received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Conner Odonahoo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Stanley Gruer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Medowie's Bran Parryman got a free kick in the 28th minute. Christian Hodson acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 29th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Curtis Stafford. Adam Cordrey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Hodson having to interfere. Adam Cordrey struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Christian Hodson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chinbingina. In the 56th match minute, Chinbingina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stanley Gruer to maneuver through the defense. 59 minutes into the match, Medowie's goal looked a bit too open when Adam Cordrey came free, but Christian Hodson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Chinbingina booed when Medowie was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bran Parryman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stanley Gruer scored 2-0 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Christian Hodson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. It was Bran Parryman who took care of the corner kick. After a defensive mix-up in Medowie's zone, Stanley Gruer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christian Hodson came out of the goal and Stanley Gruer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Karl Berresford fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Hodson having to interfere.
