An unexpectedly hard shot by Brent Boothey in the 12th minute of play forced Wapengo's goalkeeper Crawford Galvin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wapengo's Crawford Galvin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brent Boothey in the 13th minute of play. 18 minutes into the game, Cod Ziliotto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Daveyston's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wapengo the free kick. In the 19th minute of the match Phillip Boyce sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Henry Eversden skillfully saved the ball. Henry Eversden showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bill Triplett in the 21st minute of the match. Crawford Galvin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brent Boothey in the 24th minute of play. Daveyston's Rudy Bundy suffered a sore thigh after 26 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Brice Fraser's late challenge caught a Daveyston's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Brice Fraser helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Daveyston booed when Wapengo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brice Fraser didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Daveyston's goalkeeper Henry Eversden, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Neil Hoey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Henry Eversden showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jagger Reichelt in the 37th minute of the match. Henry Eversden stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Neil Hoey's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Neil Hoey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Henry Eversden tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Neil Hoey in the 44th minute of play forced Daveyston's goalkeeper Henry Eversden to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The wind increased when Neil Hoey made the kick off in the second half. When Brent Boothey fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Daveyston's protests and gave Brent Boothey a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Wapengo booed when Daveyston was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brent Boothey didn't get a good kick on the ball. 54 minutes into the match, Daveyston's goalkeeper Henry Eversden had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bill Triplett. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Neil Hoey in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Henry Eversden prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 59 played minutes Wapengo got a freekick which was hit by Brice Fraser. Henry Eversden showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Neil Hoey in the 66th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Daveyston's Cod Ziliotto got a free kick in the 67th minute. Henry Eversden made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Neil Hoey in the 68th minute of play. When Wapengo's Neil Hoey in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Daveyston's goalie prevented a goal. Henry Eversden made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Bill Triplett sent off a good shot on target. If Bill Triplett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 75th match minute, Daveyston was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brent Boothey to maneuver through the defense. If Neil Hoey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Daveyston's zone, Neil Hoey stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Henry Eversden came out of the goal and Neil Hoey tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 85 minutes, Bill Triplett managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wapengo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bill Triplett was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bill Triplett fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henry Eversden having to interfere. Daveyston's Henry Eversden proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Daveyston from getting a goal against them. Wapengo were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Daveyston to leave the ground with a draw.
