The audience was convinced that Bleyd Blestowe's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jamie Norden was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. In the 16th minute Bleyd Blestowe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jamie Norden saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bleyd Blestowe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jamie Norden having to interfere. Jamie Norden made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damon Reynolds in the 27th minute of play. Andre Haberle kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Bleyd Blestowe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Jamie Norden tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Andre Haberle took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 44th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rick Pound. Oladdie's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 45th minute Bleyd Blestowe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jamie Norden saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.
Jamie Norden made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bleyd Blestowe in the 53rd minute of play. Fumina's Jamie Norden proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Fumina from getting a goal against them. 56 minutes into the match, Fumina's goalkeeper Jamie Norden had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Damon Reynolds. When Brian Bostock fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fumina's protests and gave Brian Bostock a yellow card for diving instead. After 58 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Fumina! Earl Waller sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Oladdie getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Ray Tupman hit a great ball. Fumina's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Oladdie the free kick. Bleyd Blestowe might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jamie Norden. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bleyd Blestowe ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 81st minute of the match, Damon Reynolds got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jamie Norden was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Damon Reynolds received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jamie Norden came out and tried to block the shot, but Damon Reynolds slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 81st minute. Earl Waller recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 97th minute, Fumina's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Damon Reynolds fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post.
