An unexpectedly hard shot by Kale Gaffigan in the 11th minute of play forced Moolerr's goalkeeper Chuck Eastman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Bryan Delbridge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 18 minutes, Brooks Sparks mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Moolerr and the Mungindi players grew even worse after the yellow card. Brooks Sparks hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Rudolph Owens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kale Gaffigan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Chuck Eastman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 22 minutes, Everitt Hunn managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mungindi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Everitt Hunn was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kale Gaffigan struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Chuck Eastman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mungindi. 30 minutes into the match, Kale Gaffigan notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Moolerr's Chuck Eastman. Chuck Eastman was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Chuck Eastman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kale Gaffigan, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. The audience was convinced that Kale Gaffigan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Chuck Eastman was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. Mungindi's Stanley Keato played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brooks Sparks in the 38th minute of play. Nero Knevett sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Bryan Delbridge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Jonathan Whittington managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mungindi's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonathan Whittington was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Chuck Eastman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 66th minute, Nero Knevett got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nero Knevett got free with Stanley Keato in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 77 minutes into the match, Kale Gaffigan notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Moolerr's Chuck Eastman. Chuck Eastman was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Mungindi's Angelo Pearce got a free kick in the 80th minute. Stanley Keato showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bryan Delbridge in the 83rd minute of the match. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal.
