Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Barry Coleman took the kick off in the first half of the match. Bud Brotherton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boris Carberry having to interfere. In the 7th match minute, Springdallah was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Barnes Muller to maneuver through the defense. Gwando's Bud Brotherton got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 10th minute, Darley Brennan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Darley Brennan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gwando's defense didn't have a chance, in the 13th minute, when Antony Jeffress scored to the left of an out of position Kenneth Aylwin, making the score, 1-0. 18 minutes into the match, Darley Brennan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kenneth Aylwin. Gwando's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Darley Brennan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Barry Coleman took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Boris Carberry. Boris Carberry dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Barnes Muller during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Kenneth Aylwin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antony Jeffress in the 28th minute of play. Antony Jeffress received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Kenneth Aylwin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Darley Brennan might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kenneth Aylwin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Darley Brennan ran back to his position shaking his head. If Antony Jeffress had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Darley Brennan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Kenneth Aylwin made a huge save. Oliver Allen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gwando's Kenneth Aylwin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antony Jeffress in the 43rd minute of play. Springdallah's Boris Carberry played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barry Coleman in the 47th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The wind increased when Antony Jeffress made the kick off in the second half. Kenneth Aylwin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Neil Missen in the 52nd minute of play. Antony Jeffress might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kenneth Aylwin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Antony Jeffress ran back to his position shaking his head. Neil Missen charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Neil Missen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 57th minute, Neil Missen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Barry Coleman was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 59th minute. Gwando's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gwando's goalkeeper Kenneth Aylwin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Darley Brennan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Kenneth Aylwin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Antony Jeffress fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kenneth Aylwin having to interfere. Boris Carberry showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Barry Coleman in the 73rd minute of the match. If Antony Jeffress had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Antony Jeffress in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kenneth Aylwin saved Gwando from getting behind. Darley Brennan scored 3-1 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kenneth Aylwin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the Gwando defense, Darley Brennan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kenneth Aylwin. The Gwando fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kenneth Aylwin should have stopped the shot. When the match had gone on for 90 minutes, Antony Jeffress put it in 5-1 from a short distance just to the right of Kenneth Aylwin. Kenneth Aylwin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Darley Brennan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Springdallah fully deserved thier win.
