Spectators: 6771 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1771, VIP seats: 0) Gwando's Barry Coleman started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lewis Unicomb during the 8th minute. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Olin Keam fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kenneth Aylwin having to interfere. If Corey Beverley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kenneth Aylwin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Corey Beverley, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Corey Beverley recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Corey Beverley during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bud Brotherton got free with Niles Didlock in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Anthony Wayland charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anthony Wayland the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 33rd match minute, Geringong was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anthony Wayland to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Geringong's Niles Didlock got control of the ball when Bud Brotherton tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Barry Coleman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kenneth Aylwin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olin Keam, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Gwando's zone, Corey Beverley stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kenneth Aylwin came out of the goal and Corey Beverley tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Olin Keam fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kenneth Aylwin having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Corey Beverley to strike the kick off in the second half. Olin Keam fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kenneth Aylwin having to interfere. Olin Keam received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Kenneth Aylwin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Gwando getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Roy Gaffigan hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Oliver Allen during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Gwando's Oliver Allen got a free kick in the 65th minute. 66 minutes into the match, Gwando's goal looked a bit too open when Corey Beverley came free, but Kenneth Aylwin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Barry Coleman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 74 minutes, Kenneth Aylwin successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Kenneth Aylwin was out of position in the 76 minute of play, and Corey Beverley capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Corey Beverley really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. Kenneth Aylwin was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Anthony Wayland. Gwando's defense didn't have a chance, in the 82nd minute, when Corey Beverley scored to the left of an out of position Kenneth Aylwin, making the score, 0-2. 89 minutes into the match, Olin Keam had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kenneth Aylwin. Gwando's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Olin Keam was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. The supporters of Gwando booed when Geringong was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Corey Beverley didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 98th minute, Olin Keam got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
