Spectators: 6803 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1793, VIP seats: 10) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Darley Gavin made the kick off which started today's match. When the match had been going on for 6 minutes, KDC United's Fleming Connolly got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Burns Minton. Burns Minton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adolph Magrath in the 10th minute of play. The supporters of Ozenkadnook booed when KDC United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brown Matthes didn't get a good kick on the ball. 19 minutes into the match, Darley Gavin notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of KDC United's Payne Mills. Payne Mills was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Payne Mills showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Russ Veitch in the 27th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kent Hanlen during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 28th match minute, KDC United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kent Hanlen to maneuver through the defense. Payne Mills took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Darley Gavin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 30 minutes into the game, Ozenkadnook's Darley Gavin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Payne Mills made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. In the 33rd match minute, KDC United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abraham Rheistein to maneuver through the defense. Darley Gavin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Darley Gavin took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Payne Mills. Payne Mills dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. If Russ Veitch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 1-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Adolph Magrath was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Darley Gavin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ozenkadnook's supporters rose to their feet, but Darley Gavin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Payne Mills breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Darley Gavin got a fine position in front of goal ttaking advantage of the opportunity to rumble in 1-5 in the right cross in the 53rd match minute before Payne Mills had time to react. Adolph Magrath's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Burns Minton read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. Larkin Fulton kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Ozenkadnook's Burns Minton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edwin Saisell in the 71st minute of play. Darley Gavin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Payne Mills read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. Bern Devere kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Payne Mills was out of position in the 88 minute of play, and Darley Gavin capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Darley Gavin really showed his touch with that goal: 1-7. Russ Veitch might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Payne Mills. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Russ Veitch ran back to his position shaking his head. When the final whistle sounded Ozenkadnook left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than KDC United.
