Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Benny Mitchell kicked off to start the match. Baryulgil's Irving Maunsell shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 7th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Ben Groves but with some difficulty. Ben Groves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elliott Feutrill, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 14 minutes into the match, Benny Mitchell had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dallas Smoothey. Baryulgil's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Benny Mitchell was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Benny Mitchell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dallas Smoothey having to interfere. Handley Trenoweth hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Benny Mitchell's late challenge caught a Baryulgil's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benny Mitchell helped the player get up and apologised. In the 25th minute, Benny Mitchell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 29th minute, Dacosta Dale left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bindle fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Benny Mitchell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A hard shot 41 in the game by Dale Aistrope from a close distance when the talented Ben Groves managed to make a qualified save. Bindle's players were relieved. 45 minutes into the match, Bindle's goal looked a bit too open when Elliott Feutrill came free, but Ben Groves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 49 played minutes Elliott Feutrill rounded Bindle's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-2. After the first half Bindle were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Dale Aistrope's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ben Groves read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. 58 minutes into the match, Baryulgil's goal looked a bit too open when Benny Mitchell came free, but Dallas Smoothey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Handley Trenoweth hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dale Aistrope in the 65th minute of play forced Bindle's goalkeeper Ben Groves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Benny Mitchell's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dallas Smoothey was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. Dacosta Dale blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dallas Smoothey having to make a save. 76 minutes into the game, Baryulgil's Elliott Feutrill nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ben Groves made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. After 79 played minutes Bindle got a freekick which was hit by Payton Diehl. If Dacosta Dale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Baryulgil's Dale Aistrope got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Baryulgil booed when Bindle was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Payton Diehl didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 89 minutes, Elliott Feutrill managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Baryulgil's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elliott Feutrill was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ben Groves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elliott Feutrill, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. In the 96th minute, Elliott Feutrill ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ben Groves was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Baryulgil fans cheered their team off the field, for while Bindle had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
