Spectators: 6945 (Terracing: 5100, Seating: 1775, VIP seats: 70) Edmundson Stevenson started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Island of Ferns's Neil Carberry got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Burtt Lingwoodock hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Brye Coburn was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Andre Atterton showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 10 minute of play. James Rowdon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edmundson Stevenson's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. Dakota Aylwin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Island of Ferns defense, Dakota Aylwin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of James Rowdon. The Island of Ferns fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that James Rowdon should have stopped the shot. Dakota Aylwin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without James Rowdon having to interfere. The supporters of Harcourt booed when Island of Ferns was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dalwood Bacon didn't get a good kick on the ball. 33 minutes into the match, Dakota Aylwin notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Island of Ferns's James Rowdon. James Rowdon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Island of Ferns's James Rowdon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundson Stevenson in the 37th minute of play. Dakota Aylwin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without James Rowdon having to interfere. After 44 played minutes Harcourt got a freekick which was hit by Clarke Gronow. In the 47th minute Island of Ferns were awarded a corner. Byrne Coleman went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Island of Ferns's Byrne Coleman to fire away a dangerous shot which Brye Coburn despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Edwardo Williams kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Dakota Aylwin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dakota Aylwin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but James Rowdon made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Clarke Gronow's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but James Rowdon was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. In the 67th minute Edmundson Stevenson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but James Rowdon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Island of Ferns's Arthur Everett got a free kick in the 67th minute. In the 71st minute, Edmundson Stevenson fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of James Rowdon, passed just outside the right post. Brye Coburn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andre Atterton, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. In the 82nd minute, Neil Carberry made a precise shot to the right of Brye Coburn. Harcourt's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. A collision led to Island of Ferns getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Byrne Coleman hit a great ball. 86 minutes into the match, Island of Ferns's goalkeeper James Rowdon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dakota Aylwin. Edmundson Stevenson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dakota Aylwin who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 91stth minute tested the skills of James Rowdon when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Herman Isaac kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Edmundson Stevenson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. James Rowdon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 96th minute, Dakota Aylwin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. James Rowdon was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. The Island of Ferns fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Harcourt were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
