Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Stan Stevens started the match with the kick off. Bill Tarrant sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kevin Brien in the 8th minute of play forced Pembroke FC's goalkeeper Carlisle Baxter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 10th minute, Jeffray Wal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carlisle Baxter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Curtis Mcinnis in the 19th minute of the match. Pembroke FC's Martyon Palmington was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 22nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Martyon Palmington fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Murphy Gorham having to interfere. Murphy Gorham showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stan Stevens, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. If Curtis Mcinnis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlisle Baxter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kevin Brien, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Murphy Gorham made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Martyon Palmington sent off a good shot on target. Carlisle Baxter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Curtis Mcinnis in the 36th minute of play. Springcliff's Kevin Brien got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 39 minutes, Nilson Franklin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Springcliff and the Pembroke FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 39 played minutes Springcliff got a freekick which was hit by Nilson Franklin. Martyon Palmington who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 40thth minute tested the skills of Murphy Gorham when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Curtis Mcinnis was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Kevin Brien got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Martyon Palmington sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Curtis Mcinnis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Carlisle Baxter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Curtis Mcinnis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Springcliff's supporters rose to their feet, but Curtis Mcinnis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlisle Baxter breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Springcliff getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Nilson Franklin hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Springcliff's zone, Martyon Palmington stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Murphy Gorham came out of the goal and Martyon Palmington tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Springcliff's Bleyd Mitchell got a free kick in the 70th minute. If Curtis Mcinnis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Curtis Mcinnis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlisle Baxter having to interfere. Kevin Brien could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Carlisle Baxter made a huge save. Carlisle Baxter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Curtis Mcinnis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stan Stevens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Murphy Gorham tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Curtis Mcinnis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pembroke FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
