Barth Bohn charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Barth Bohn the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 4th match minute, Cheviot was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Barth Bohn to maneuver through the defense. 19 minutes into the match, Cheviot's goalkeeper Earnest Wirth had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bryanne Sinden. After having played for 24 minutes, Bryanne Sinden managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Murmungee's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bryanne Sinden was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Cheviot's Earnest Wirth got control of the ball when James Obrien tried to sneak it across the goal line. Earnest Wirth didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bryanne Sinden went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Cheviot's zone, Bryanne Sinden stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Earnest Wirth came out of the goal and Bryanne Sinden tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Randle Wright in the 48th minute of play forced Cheviot's goalkeeper Earnest Wirth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell David Bonnison to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bryanne Sinden in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Earnest Wirth saved Cheviot from getting behind. If Irwin Lingwoodock had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Earnest Wirth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bryanne Sinden in the 54th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bryanne Sinden in the 56th minute of play forced Cheviot's goalkeeper Earnest Wirth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Earnest Wirth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bryanne Sinden in the 60th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 63 minutes, Brynn Dowsing successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Barth Bohn kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Cheviot's Earnest Wirth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Irwin Lingwoodock in the 70th minute of play. Norman Egel hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. In the 73rd minute of the match Chuck Aylwin shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Earnest Wirth showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Bryanne Sinden fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Earnest Wirth having to interfere. Barth Bohn was shown his second yellow card after 76 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Cheviot getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Barth Bohn hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Bryanne Sinden managed to get in a good position for a shot. Murmungee's supporters rose to their feet, but Bryanne Sinden was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Earnest Wirth breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bryanne Sinden in the 82nd minute of play forced Cheviot's goalkeeper Earnest Wirth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 90 minutes, Bryanne Sinden put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Earnest Wirth. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Murmungee had played much better football throughout.
