Spectators: 6943 (Terracing: 5100, Seating: 1773, VIP seats: 70) Brayden Bailey made the kick off and thus started the match. James Rowdon came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Carlton F.C's Brayden Bailey. But to his dismay, Brayden Bailey quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Donovan Wege showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andre Atterton, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Carlton F.C's Donovan Wege played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andre Atterton in the 19th minute of play. Carlton F.C's Brayden Bailey got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Brayden Bailey recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Donovan Wege took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andre Atterton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Donovan Wege showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andre Atterton, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Rich Barugh hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. After having played for 32 minutes, Neil Carberry managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Island of Ferns's supporters crossed their fingers, but Neil Carberry was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Donovan Wege took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andre Atterton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Neil Carberry sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 42 minutes of play, Carlton F.C's Ringo Mcvicar made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. James Rowdon was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ringo Mcvicar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. James Rowdon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

With an all-out effort, Carlton F.C's James Rowdon threw himself towards the right post 54 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Brayden Bailey, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After having played for 56 minutes, Ringo Mcvicar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carlton F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ringo Mcvicar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Brendan Howard kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. In the 62nd minute, Brayden Bailey fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of James Rowdon, passed just outside the right post. In the 63rd minute, Brendan Howard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Neil Carberry fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donovan Wege having to interfere. If Andre Atterton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 71 minutes into the game, Carlton F.C's Ringo Mcvicar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. James Rowdon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. James Rowdon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brayden Bailey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Island of Ferns's Brendan Howard got a free kick in the 76th minute. James Rowdon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Brayden Bailey's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. James Rowdon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brayden Bailey in the 88th minute of play. Donovan Wege didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Andre Atterton went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Carlton F.C's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
